Job Summary:
* Your role will serve as the hospital expert and leader in the development and coordination of regulatory and quality activities within the hospital and among the Medical Staff. Coordination of the continuous regulatory, licensure and accreditation compliance in accordance with all applicable regulations and standards.
* Your role implements, coordinates and maintains a regulatory readiness program including identifying and scheduling appropriate tracer activities.
* You will continually analyze and improve current regulatory compliance.
* Your role updates leaders and the program on any changes in regulatory/accreditation regulations or standards.
* Your role supports communication of regulatory standards to leadership, employees and medical staff with emphasis on the clinical and functional importance of regulatory compliance.
* Your role coordinates and manages all regulatory, accreditation or certification preparation, performance reviews and all on-site/telephone survey processes, both announced and unannounced.
* You will coordinate and review, prior to submission, all facility corrective actions related to regulatory standards or surveys. Monitor and submits Measures of Success required in Action Plans.
* You will plan and lead mock surveys, QRS surveys, or any other preparation for upcoming accreditation surveys.
* Your role participates in performance improvement activities to assure continuous quality improvement including risk management, patient safety, infection prevention, medical staff and quality.
Cartersville Medical Center is a 119 bed acute care hospital, Level III Trauma, Chest Pain Center, Certified Primary Stroke Center and Gold Seal Inpatient Diabetes program accredited by the Joint Commission. The Breast Imaging Center of Excellence at The Womens Center provides mammography services that are gold seal accredited by the American College of Radiology. The Hope Center, a regional, Commission on Cancer approved cancer treatment facility, is conveniently located on the hospital campus and provides over 4,000 treatments with over 300 new patients per year from a ten county region.

Qualifications
* Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current GA RN license or Bachelor's Degree in any healthcare field.
* Previous management experience related to acute care Quality and Regulatory Compliance.
* Previous 2-5 years acute care experience.
* Public speaking, consultative and interpersonal skills.
* Excellent communication and computer skills.
