Insights Digital Innovation Solutions team is bringing exciting products to market which leverage the Microsoft Azure IoT stack. Utilizing a wide array of Azure services and a modern codebase, these solutions are built on cutting edge technologies and are slated for continuous improvements in functionality, infrastructure, and operations as the solutions evolve.

The team is seeking an experienced .NET and Azure Architect to define component architecture and guide the engineers of a scrum team. The Architect will work closely with product management to help size, prioritize, and design the features and improvements being proposed to the product, and provide guidance to the engineering team implementing and testing the features.

Qualifications

* 7+ years of industry experience
* Experience leading a software development team
* Extensive experience and knowledge of agile development, SDLC and DevOps
* Breadth of knowledge across Microsoft Azure products & solutions
* Experience designing and implementing cloud systems to ingest streaming IoT data at scale
* Expertise with C and software engineering best practices on the .NET platform
* Familiarity with Microsoft PowerShell, specifically Azure PowerShell Commandlets
* Experience with automated unit testing and test-driven development
* Understanding of QA automation
* Experience with build and deployment configuration of cloud applications (Azure DevOps preferred)
* Critical thinking, problem-solving, trouble shooting and decision-making skills
* Strong communication skills
* Strong team leadership skills
* Desire to work in fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting
* High integrity, with a proactive, positive approach to work
* Education: BA/BS
