You also have:

* Associates Degree or Bachelors Degree (strongly preferred)
* 3-5 years related experience in a manufacturing setting
* Or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
* Strong knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes.

What Youll Do
As a Manufacturing Supervisor 3rd Shift, youll provide immediate supervision of Machining, Welding, Paint, Assembly, and/or Pack. Responsible for all manufacturing supervision activities including manning requirements, training and talent development, goal attainment, and continuous improvement within assigned area. Satisfies internal and external customer & supplier needs. This position will report to the Plant Manufacturing Manager but will interact with all required functions necessary to provide the shop floor with resources required to meet goals in the areas of safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

Specifically, youll:

* Responsible for all manufacturing supervision activities within Machining, Welding, Paint, Assembly, and or Pack
* Responsible for manning requirements, training and talent development, goal attainment, and continuous improvement within these areas.
* Supports continuous improvement philosophy driving lean manufacturing principles.
* Day to day manufacturing process support of production teams.
* Works closely with manufacturing engineers as well as other support groups and direct labor personnel to resolve issues that arise as related to safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
* Works closely with HR and management to maintain consistency and fairness in administration of company policy and code of conduct.
* Provides necessary talent and resources to the manufacturing process to meet objective goals.
* Management of departmental budgets within assigned area.
* Understands and follows the Jackson sites environmental policy and the environmental impacts associated with their work activities
* Perform any other related duties as required or assigned
