Corporate Risk helps all Wells Fargo businesses identify and manage risk. The team focuses on several key risk types, including conduct, credit, financial crimes, information security, interest rate, liquidity, market, model, operational, regulatory compliance, reputation, strategic, and technology risk. The group provides leadership, enhances communications, assists with problem identification and solutions, and shares best practices. In addition, the group provides an enterprise-wide view of risk, assists management and our Board of Directors in identifying and monitoring risks that may affect multiple lines of business, and takes appropriate action when business activities exceed the risk tolerance of the company.
This position will support the Chief Administration Office (CAO) Compliance Team within Wealth and Investment Management (WIM) Compliance.The CAO Compliance team is responsible for providing oversight activities of front-line business activities to meet the requirements of the Compliance Program Policy, and other Compliance owned policies administered by the CAO Group.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
* Work with business and/or special programs; providing compliance risk expertise
* Provide credible challenge and oversight support for issues management related activities
* Collaborate with WIM Compliance and front-line team to address compliance risk
* Support WIM Shared Services Compliance deliverables as a business aligned compliance officer (i.e. Compliance Risk Assessment, Compliance Program Assessment Effectiveness, and Policy Implementation, etc.)
Required Qualifications
* 5+ years of experience in risk management (includes compliance, financial crimes, operational risk, audit, legal, credit risk, market risk, IT systems security, business process management) or 5+ years of financial services industry experience, of which 3+ years must include direct experience in risk management

* Ability to prepare presentations, management reporting, and statistical analysis

Other Desired Qualifications
* Foundational knowledge of Wealth and Investment Management
* Familiarity with Wells Fargo Risk Management systems, ie. SHRP
* Professional certification such as Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)
Job Expectations
* Ability to travel up to 5% of the time
