Facebook is looking for a motivated, experienced and entrepreneurial leader to join our Strategic Initiatives (SI) Team. SI is a global team, which supports and enables the success of functional partners in Scaled Operations (SO) and Global Operations (GO) by offering close stakeholder collaboration, thought partnership, effective communication, and program excellence. In particular, this individual will join the Business Enablement team within SI, which focuses on building technology products and services to support Facebooks partner workforce. This is a pivotal role to lead technology strategy and drive solutions through building partnerships across organizational boundaries.
This will be a highly impactful individual contributor position.
Technology Strategy and Partnerships Lead, Strategic Initiatives Responsibilities

* Deeply understand the architecture and integration points of Facebook's processes, products, and policies

* Drive vision, strategy, business/technology architecture and roadmap to Influence FB product roadmaps for Operations

* Use problem solving skills to analyze large and complex business problems and provide recommendations for technology improvements

* Drive projects from abstract ideation through proof-of-concept, creating concrete execution plans

* Seek and build partnerships. Act as a consultative and strategic partner cross-functional teams from business, engineering, process and product teams to build/improve the technology experience on our existing suite of products

* Define, build and track key performance metrics to measure success and identify and iterate on opportunities for optimization

* Drive internal process improvements across multiple teams and functions

* Provide impactful insights into the companys strategic direction

* Requires at least 10-20% international travel

Minimum Qualifications

* 10+ years of experience as a software/systems leadership/consulting, leading technology strategy, roadmap and solutioning across the technology stack

* Communication, presentation and interpersonal skills

* Demonstrated experience in advocating technology solutions and driving executive alignment

* Strategic thinker with analytical and problem-solving experience

* Track record of leading multiple teams and influencing stakeholders without authority, demonstrating creativity, detail-orientation, and delivering results with execution rigor

* Experience in fostering cross-functional working partnerships with business, engineering, and product teams in medium to large organizations

* Bachelors or Masters Degree in computer science, information systems or other related fields

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a technology company or consulting firm

* Knowledge of functional areas like customer support, vendor support, UI/ UX, or engineering
