Use your operational analytical skills to design/develop, program, maintain and publish reports for the Information Services (IS) team. Make solid recommendations based on the analysis and provide explanations for reporting results for both internal operations and our customers. You must be self-directed and creative as you will deal with some very interesting and complex issues. As a key resource to others you must maintain a high degree of accuracy along with attention to detail, excellent oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to always meet deadlines.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Provide timely support for IS report and reporting enhancements and delivery
* Support reporting needs requested by business users from a report analyst perspective
* Provide insightful analysis that is meaningful to the current state of the health care industry
* Demonstrate knowledge of data programs and systems available for business requestors
* Show a superior understanding of the health care industry trends and their drivers
* Understand business problems and how they relate to IS's role within the organization
* Assist with and occasionally lead requirements gathering sessions as a part of cross functional workgroups in order to determine necessary and appropriate aspects of a solution that meets customer expectations
* Address customer concerns and questions promptly and completely on a consistent basis
* Provide companion guides for reports developed
* Assist in developing presentation materials
* Contribute to training program that support products that have been developed by the team

Required Qualifications:

* 3+ years of experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
* 2+ years of SQL programming Experience - ability to write queries
* 2+ years of experience with Medicaid programs
* 1+ years of HEDIS prospective reporting experience
* Comprehensive understanding of HEDIS and data collection methods
* If you need to enter a work site for any reason, you will be required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener. When in a UnitedHealth Group building, employees are required to wear a mask in common areas. In addition, employees must comply with any state and local masking orders

Preferred Qualifications:

* BA / BS degree in related field
* 3+ years of experience performing significant data analysis and report development
* 3+ years working with HEDIS data collection or reporting
* 3+ years for working with Medicaid programs or Medicaid reporting
* 2+ years of Tableau or data visualization experience
* 2+ years of programming knowledge (reporting code) and of relational databases, database structures and design, systems design, data management, data warehouse

Colorado Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $64,800 to $116,000.
