This is a temporary position of undetermined length.
Raytheon Technologies is seeking an experienced software developer to join a small, but advanced Operations based team. The role will involve both support of established applications/customer base and the development of new applications primarily targeted at aiding Factories in production execution. Candidates must have a multi-year history designing, developing, testing, documenting and sustaining applications. A sense of ownership and support response urgency is required should an outage occur that typically requires 5x24 support using remote location connectivity. Duties include integrating and deploying web-based technologies, documenting processes, and providing direct customer interaction for both support issues/questions and training delivery. Several applications provide direct Factory support while others have been developed to facilitate cross functional business processes in Planning, Supply Chain and Contracts. Candidates who desire a broader scope of knowledge in end-to-end business processes and system solution development would do well in this team.
Primary activities include:
* Formulate and develop full stack applications.
* Add features to existing applications and use data integration to minimize manual maintenance
* Develop interactive front-end capabilities for user ease of use using modern technologies
* Enhance user interface and experience employing visual design best practices
* Architect new data models and develop highly responsive predictive analytics
* Learn and understand a broad range of business processes to build actionable data processes
* Maintain, train and troubleshoot user issues and software issues.
* Working in a fast pace Agile environment producing a variety of solutions
Required Skills:
* Full-stack C Web application development
* VB.Net
* Entity and Knockout Framework
