We seek an entrepreneurial data analyst to join our global strategic communications & marketing team. Advising multiple internal and external campaign teams, you will provide analysis and insights that are instrumental to identifying and targeting audiences, developing and refining channel strategies and optimizing content. Leveraging a suite of analytics and reporting tools, you will help address the complex challenges of marketing effectiveness, ROI, audience behavior and campaign effectiveness while working closely with channel owners and campaign leads to monitor and analyze campaign outcomes. Additionally, you will serve on a cross-functional, cross-business, team of analysts charged with collaborating on the creation of new innovative solutions for your customers.

This position can be a Brand Communications Specialist II or a Sr Brand Communications Specialist based on the candidates qualifications as they relate to the skills, experience and responsibility requirements for the position.

This position may be eligible for remote assignment at the discretion of the manager

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

* Data-Driven Counsel provide data-driven counsel to improve effectiveness of employee engagement, talent acquisition and external marketing campaigns.
* Audience Analysis Create and maintain in-depth profiles on campaign audiences and their influencers. Develop targeting recommendations based on audience research.
* Analytics Reporting Develop standardized reporting to monitor and analyze channel effectiveness, audience sentiment and campaign return on investment (ROI).
* Channel Optimization Collaborating with campaign channel leads, use data to refine channel strategies, test messaging and optimize marketing spend.
* Data & Reporting Tools Management Lead department understanding, use and integration of data analysis, targeting and reporting tools. Monitor data science trends, emerging tools and technologies to continually improve frameworks, processes and best practices.
* Competitive Research Monitors competitor tactics and industry best practices to inform campaign strategies.
Required Skills & Experience

* Bachelors degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, Mathematics or a quantitative degree in other social science or hard science fields
* 2 years of experience in data analysis or marketing research
* Must have experience with the following:
* Experience collaborating with data owners and technology teams to source data sets required for analyses
* Experience applying quantitative techniques (normalization, applied statistics) to cleanse and explore large, complex data sets in preparation for further analysis
* Responsibilities which include communicating statistical/mathematical techniques to non-technical audiences and senior leadership
* Experience creating repeatable processes and scalable data products in collaboration with the advanced analytics team
* Responsibilities which include staying current with new data science methods, technologies, industry trends and open source packages
* Google Analytics, social media analytics, Excel and Microsoft Office suite experience

* Develop, validate, and operationalize appropriate mathematical and statistical algorithms and models, including implementation on large data sets in development and production environments
* Review, enhance, and execute operationalized algorithms and models
* Execute qualitative and quantitative research initiatives that support internal objectives, including writing surveys, managing survey fielding, analyzing banners and cross-tabs
