RIS Space & Command Control provides Operations and Maintenance support for the Intelligence Community.
Raytheon Technologies is currently seeking a computer Systems Operator that will perform a rotational watch standing position for overall operations of a complex message communications system.
Duties and responsibilities:
* Visually monitor computer system displays for any anomalies and provide corrective actions as required.
* Understand and act in accordance with message routing priority schemes and classification considerations.
* Ensure that projects are complete on schedule, following established procedures and schedules.
* Work in an open environment with frequent and direct interaction and collaboration with customers and peers.
Requirements:
* Familiarity using Unix/Windows based computer systems.
* Familiarity working with messaging or other applications and/or technology related to communications.
* Familiarity troubleshooting application and/or system problems.
* Ability to interface with external organizations to ensure successful end to end operations.
* Ability to monitor computer systems for extended periods of time.
* Ability to walk up and down stairs often.
* Ability and willingness to work non-traditional work hours - specifically, rotating shifts (6:00pm to 6:00am and 6:00am to 6:00pm) work, with 12 hour shifts (a '2-2-3' schedule) with every other weekend off. Must be willing to work nights, weekends and holidays as required.
* Must be able to distinguish the difference between all colors on a computer monitor.
* Bachelor's Degree and at least 2 years of experience or 10 years of experience in lieu of a degree
* Qualified applicants may be subject to a security investigation and must meet minimum qualifications for access to classified information.
* U.S. Citizenship and an active current TS/SCI SSBI security clearance is required with current CI Poly.
Desired Requirements:
* Experienced with message routing priority schemes and classifications considerations.
* Experience with crypto management and/or work experience with encryption devices is beneficial.
* Knowledge of various security categories in the delivery of messages is a plus.
* Experience with messaging in a 24x7 communications center environment.
* Knowledge of network operations and components is very helpful.
* Experience making critical decisions.
In compliance with Colorados Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is $56,800 to $99,400; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidates work experience, education/training, and key skills.
