About This Location

Bon Secours - Southside Medical Center is a community health care provider, a 300-bed facility located on a 50-acre campus with nearly 400 physicians representing more than 40 specialties.Southside Medical Center's ER is equipped to care for all types of emergencies 24-hours a day and is the only Trauma Center in the Tri-Cities and southern Virginia. Bon Secours Southside Medical Center treats more than 61,000 ER patients a year and with more than 380 physicians on staff representing more than 40 specialties, the hospital is equipped to handle an array of medical emergencies.

North American Partners in Anesthesia (NAPA) is seeking CRNAs to join the anesthetist team at Southside Medical Center

Excellent opportunity that allows CRNAs to practice to the full scoop of their license: including peripheral nerve block, spinal, epidural,central line, and arterial line placement.

Case Assignments

Case Assignments: OB, General, GYN, Endo, Ortho Central and A lines, vascular, bariatric, ENT, Bread and Butter

Position Responsibilities

Responsibilities

* Pre-anesthesia assessment

* Obtains and/or verifies patient consent

* Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient

* Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia

* Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition

* Performance of clinical intervention as needed

Position Requirements

Requirements:

* Current license as a registered professional nurse

* Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education

* Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
