Northrop Grumman Space Sector Strategic Deterrent Systems Division is seeking a Business Manager 3. This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the Advanced Programs organization. This position will be responsible for overall cost, schedule, and contracts leadership and excellence across all Advanced Programs activities. The position reports through the SDS Division Business Management organization with day to day interface, support, and accountability to the lead of Advanced Programs.
Roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Provide business management leadership and excellence oversight for a growing Advanced Programs organization including a collection of capital, non-contractual technical activity (NCTA), and contractual research and development (CRAD) contracts focused on maturing upgrade and new capabilities and capturing new business to grow the SDS Division.
* Provide cost management oversight for all Advanced Programs projects.
* Support return on investment calculations and decisions in pursuit of technology including cross-division/sector involvement.
* Support future Advanced Programs and Division team engagement activities, staff performance and goal evaluation, and recruiting/hiring support.
* Demonstrate a commitment to ethics and integrity, and the capability to innovate while challenging traditional ways of doing business while managing to a budget and meeting or exceeding financial commitments to the Division and Sector.
* Operate in an advanced design environment and collaborate across the Space Sector Divisions and other Sectors as required to accomplish the team goals.
* Work closely with the Advanced Programs project leads and core organization leads in defining, growing, and executing the organization 39;s people and business and ensuring data and metrics in place to capture and report cost and schedule performance.
* Ensure business management operations within/aligned to the norms identified for the SDS Division, Space Sector, and Corporation.
* Develop financial aspects of Annual Operating Plan and Long Range Strategic Plan for Advanced Programs.
* Initially support weekly and monthly cost reporting for Advanced Programs activities as organization grows to a sufficient business base warranting staff expansion.

This position may have a 9/80 work schedule available. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off as the mission allows.

Qualification
Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelor rsquo;s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline with 8+ years of industry related experience in Finance, Accounting, Pricing/Cost estimating, Contracts, Program Control, or other related Business Management function(s). A Master 39;s degree with 6+ years of industry related experience in Finance, Accounting, Pricing/Cost estimating, Contracts, Program Control, or other related Business Management function(s) also accepted.
* Experience operating within a compliant EVMS system resulting in a demonstrated understanding of tailoring EVMS principles to meet unique business needs where a full compliant EVMS implementation is not required.
* Experience with financial planning, reporting, and analysis to include financial goal setting and progress tracking against metrics such as awards, backlog / remaining performance obligation, sales, operating margin, cash from operations, free cash flow, etc.
* Experience with Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Long Range Strategic Plan (LRSP) financial input development.
* A minimum of 3 years providing cost management leadership of large projects.
* Excellent oral and written presentation skills.
* Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills required to work closely with both internal staff and external customers and partners.
* Active Secret DoD Security Clearance with a periodic reinvestigation closed within last five years. US Citizenship is a prerequisite.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with planning, budgeting, deploying, and administering Northrop Grumman Non-Contractual Technical Activity (NCTA), Capital Commitment/Expenditure, and Indirect budgets and activities.
* Experience with Northrop Grumman accounting and compliance systems including cost collection and sales order/network generation and tracking.
* Experience with principles and considerations for DoD Contracts Management.
* Experience with principles and considerations for schedule management.
* Experience with principles and considerations for pricing and investment decisions for small to moderate value contract opportunities.
