Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems (NGAS) is looking for you to join our team as a Principal Material Process Engineer based out of Clearfield, UT.

What You rsquo;ll get to Do:

You will be part of a team that is working on advanced composite technologies. In this position you will be part of our research and development (R amp;D) efforts for external protection materials used on carbon fiber composite structures. You will be part of a team helping to scale up the production of these materials by developing efficient manufacturing processes with quality control metrics. Any experience with composite materials and fabrication is preferred. Basic understanding of rubber and polymer materials and processes is preferred.

Qualification

You rsquo;ll Bring These Qualifications:

* Bachelor rsquo;s degree in science or engineering with minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, master rsquo;s degree in science or engineering with minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, or PhD in science or engineering
* Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security Clearance
* Process engineering and manufacturing experience

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

* Understanding of carbon fiber composites, fabrication, and testing.
* Material and process specifications
* Use of CAD software
