The HR Service Delivery Operations Associate Manager will be a member of the HR Service Delivery Center and leading their own specialized team. The HR Service Delivery Center supports all of AFS Human Resources by assisting in systems and reporting, talent acquisition, and employee support. This lead will interpret day-to-day business objectives and prepare/implement operation programs to ensure proper team execution in accordance to our service level agreements.
The Associate Manager will prepare and analyze complex reports/information in multiple systems/databases and formulate conclusions. A propensity for technology is critical for success.
Problem solving is also necessary in this role; this individual will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for team members, peers, and clients. An important function of this position will be anticipating, identifying, and assessing complex issues/problems.
Other HR Service Delivery Ops Associate Manager responsibilities include:
* Reviewing all incoming work for clarity, providing clear work directions, e.g., receive requests for assistance from the field, determine level of assistance required and respond appropriately
* Managing numerous, complex projects requiring high level capabilities with minimal supervision
* Assisting with day-to-day operational decisions, including but not limited to management of work assignments, workload, equipment, staffing, and scheduling
* Handling team workloads to ensure even distribution of responsibilities and provide development opportunities
* Developing support materials for team use, e.g., training manuals, job aids, procedures
* Identifying, documenting, and reviewing opportunities for team improvement in procedures/processes/standards to gain cost-effectiveness
* Preparing and analyze complex reports/information and formulate conclusions
* Performing analysis of quality audits; developing process improvements to maintain/improve quality deliverables
* Providing operational statistics and escalate operational issues to supervisor
* Planning and facilitating regular (as required) team calls/meetings
* Creating annual team objectives with HR Service Delivery Manager and monitoring and coaching team to meet objectives
* Preparing, coordinating, and conducting performance appraisals, and counsel employees on career and performance/disciplinary issues
* May act as a point of contact for senior client representatives
* Required to direct work within clear budget guidelines
* May participate, either voluntarily or through supervisor's request, on task forces, process teams, committees and special projects
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
* 4 years of experience in Shared Service environment
* 4 years leading a large team (10+ people)
* Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, One Note)
Additional Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
* Cost Point/Deltek experience
* Workday Experience
* ServiceNow Experience
* HR Transactional experience
* Recruiting Admin experience
* Propensity for technology to include understanding system changes, system updates and impacts to the team
* Logical approach in addressing issues and strong analytical skills
An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
