This position will be on the Optum Medical Benefit Management (MBM) team and lead the development of new solutions.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Accountable for MSK End to End value story
* Define and launch road to risk for MSK
* Accountable for external payer pipeline and current clients
* MSK new product development
* Build and launch solutions such as pain management, implants, arthritis management
* Work closely with beta client to define the solution
* Lead a large cross functional team including technology, operations, reporting, legal on the development of the new solution
* Responsible for beta client management
* Develop sales and marketing plan for new solution
* Responsible for processes including Accelerate, issue resolution, exceptions, and release planning
* Scorecards and analytics to monitor product performance and impact
* Works cross functionally/ cross enterprise to drive the product discipline and operating rhythm

Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree
* 7+ Years of experience product development/management
* Experience in leading complicated, cross-functional projects
* Experience in Agile development processes
* Experience in complex, matrix organizations; knows how to get things done both through formal channels and the informal network
Preferred Qualifications:
* MBA or Master's degree
* Ability to manage projects simultaneously and achieve goals
* Strong demonstrated ability to lead business initiatives to a successful result
* Experience working in MSK, Oncology, Cardiology and/or other highly complex clinical areas
* Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
* Demonstrated leadership ability with cross-functional teams and consensus builder
* Ability to effectively deal with levels of ambiguity - can effectively cope with change, can shift gears comfortably, can decide and act without having the total picture, comfortably handles risk and uncertainty
* Good negotiation, problem solving, planning and decision-making skills
* Team building and culture building experience
* Effective formal presentation and facilitation skills in a variety of settings
* Ability to work independently and in a team environment in a positive and supportive manner
* Strong analytical abilities, organization and project/process management skills. Business process experience is desirable
