Insight is seeking a customer service oriented Service Desk Agent to provide technical support to users in an efficient and accurate manner. You will be considered as the firms front line and you will solve basic technical problems while providing support for all assigned areas. The goal is to make sure that associate value is maintained to the standards set forth by the company. This is a call center environment with a steady flow of issues, needs and requests from internal end users.

Training will consist of two weeks working 8-5 M-F including shared classroom-type of instruction followed by several weeks of job-based shadowing. Once onboarded, the available shift times are not set yet but will be morning start times, afternoon start times and nights. Each shift is 9 hours long with 1 hour unpaid lunch. There will be at least one working day during the weekend (Saturday or Sunday).

Responsibilities:

* A least 1 years experience with OS X/macOS El Capitan and later, especially including system image deployment, maintenance, software and system testing and encryption and security tools (McAfee and FileVault)
* At least 1 year of experience with Windows - 7 or later, including image deployment, software and system testing and encryption and security tools (McAfee)
* At least 1-year support and administration including remote administration, end user support and interaction with other support groups including executive support
* At least 1-year experience with productivity tools running on Macs/PCs including MS Office, Lync
* At least 1-year Mac/PC experience in a medium to large environment
* At least 1-year experience with platform management and integration preferably JAMF Casper Suite, SCCM or equivalent
* At least 1-year experience with ticketing and traffic reporting tools (Zendesk, HPSM, or equivalent.
* Provides first level problem resolution for enterprise/system-wide computer/mobile device hardware, operating system software, application programs, peripheral equipment, and LAN interfaces.
* Applies system expertise, skills, and knowledge effectively in solving desktop workstation and personal computer, associated equipment, and network connectivity technical problems.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates will have their A+ certification, experience with software support, troubleshooting, system imaging, hardware break-fix support (i.e. laptops, desktops, laserjet printers), and deployment, and excellent customer service skills in a corporate environment.
