As a Fitter - Beginner, you will perform work of a fitter apprentice in maintaining safe and adequate services to our customers.
Specifically, you'll have the opportunity to:
Perform gas utility construction work activities according to classification.
Complete all training and Operator Qualifications requirements of the classification.
Operate equipment used to perform main installs, service installs, leak investigations, and leak surveys.
Perform other work as assigned, including service watch.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
High school diploma
Valid drivers license
Must live within 25 miles from the reporting headquarters
Must be available to work overtime
Preferred
General construction, power tool, plumbing experience, etc. helpful.
Applicant must be capable of physically and mentally working in/on gas facilities.
Eligible candidates must have a CDL or be willing to obtain one within 60 days of hire
Position is located in Vincennes, IN.
