Position Overview
The Kiewit Technology Group (KTG) Power Platform Developer is a mid-level role within the Project & Portfolio Management (PPM) team. This role will focus on the automation of process and analysis of data generated throughout the software development lifecycle, providing insight on the health of our project portfolio though dashboards and reporting. Core goal is to empower our leaders with data-based analytics for their decision-making processes.

District Overview
Kiewit Technology Groups (KTG) mission is to deliver project schedule and cost certainty by employing technology designed by and for the construction industry. Our team deploys apps to the field that increase profitability by maximizing the way we use our people and resources in daily operations. KTG uses the Kiewit Management System (KMS), which includes systems and tools that manage every part of Kiewits business and lifecycle of a project, to improve planning and day-to-day execution in the field by giving our people real-time data to make faster, smarter decisions. Location
This position is based out of our Kiewit Business Center at 12720 I Street. This is a shared service center in a professional office setting.
Responsibilities
Subject Matter Expert (SME) regarding the capabilities and limitations of Power Apps, Azure DevOps, and SharePoint, as solutions supporting the KTG Project & Portfolio Management and Quality & Continuous Improvement strategies.
Coordinates with project workers and KTG leaders to understand their information needs and identify ways to visualize and present information in a user-friendly manner
Proactively mines data to identify trends and patterns and generates insights for business units and senior leadership
Works with internal business partners to drive understanding of data use, analysis, and quality. Champions data integrity initiatives
Builds front-end forms to collect project related data and eliminate pain points in the project management and SDLC processes.
Produces actionable reports that show key performance indicators, identify areas for improvement in current project operations, and display root cause of problems.
Identifies the optimal way to visualize data for its intended audience
Acquires, models and transforms data from various data sources
Maintains relevant knowledge and skills through self-study and participation in educational opportunities

Qualifications
Advanced user of the Microsoft Power Platform products (SharePoint, PowerApps, PowerAutomate, PowerBI). Power Platform Certification or Certified Analytics Professional designation is a plus
2+ years experience creating PowerBI or Tableau reports using multiple data sources
5+ years experience in an information technology role
Expert in data mining and information analysis
Ability to generate insights from available information and examine trends
Competent in information taxonomy creation, information visualization, information modeling, and data warehousing techniques
Ability to perform functional requirements analysis and business domain analysis.
