The Direct + Unmanaged Performance & Insights team sits within Microsoft's Global Demand Center (GDC) organization. The Global Demand Center is leading the transformation of marketing at Microsoft with programs and engines that allow us to engage in a more personal way with our customers while driving clear, measured business outcomes. We measure end to end marketing impact by defining and managing key business performance metrics - including acquiring known leads, optimizing customer digital engagement, and routing & tracking specific sets of high propensity customers to the right sales channel (direct, inside sales, partners, field sales).

This role will focus on establishing data pipelines, building reporting capability and performing analysis to help uncover new insights across the end-to-end Direct customer experience. Successful candidates will be comfortable working with data, operating at a fast pace, navigating ambiguity, and collaborating across teams and functional boundaries. Candidates should be curious and have a bias for action. This role requires a balance of business and technical acumen, with an ability to communicate with clarity to executives and stakeholders at all levels.

1. Identify requirements for establishing data pipelines and building new reporting capabilities and performance dashboards to track end-to-end performance.
2. Drive alignment across partner teams in Finance and Engineering on methodologies and data sources to ensure consistency and provide clarity across teams.
3. Analyze Power Platform Direct business performance and marketing/sales program performance to identify new patterns and insights.
4. Communicate performance trends and insights to business stakeholders and executives.

Excellent collaboration skills and demonstrated ability to operate and influence in a large matrixed organization.
Experience working across business & technical teams to build new reporting capabilities and data pipelines.
Strong communication and presentation skills with executives and a diverse set of business and technical stakeholders.
Proven track record of navigating ambiguity and leading complex projects from start to finish.
5+ years of experience with data analytics and insights.
