We are looking for a talented and experienced UX designer to join our team. In this role, you will be part of a multi-disciplinary team of interaction and visual designers committed to developing the next generation cross platform UI interfaces. This role will have a big influence on the design language for multiple Chase digital platforms including the public and secure web and mobile sites. This candidate should have experience working in marketing and advertising and have helped to shape big brands through impeccable, pixel perfect design.
A customer centric view is paramount while providing simple, fun and innovatively enriching mobile experiences for our customers. You will be working in a fast paced environment alongside our product and engineering teams to deliver all graphical assets and specs, including images, renderings, fonts, colors, icons, logos, etc. as well as focus on the design of mobile UI animations and transitions that improve usability and delight consumers. Finally, you will be expected to act as a resource for our marketing and executive teams to help develop potential go to market artwork, training materials, visuals, presentations, prototypes, etc. Providing our multi-disciplinary team with world class visuals that communicate the heart and soul of our products will help J.P. Morgan Chase continue in its role as the leader in the mobile financial services space.
Qualifications:
5+ years experience in mobile user interface design and web
Champion design consistency across visual and voice design by maintaining and distributing key brand assets
Proven understanding of brand development and representation in the mobile space and responsive web design
Work closely with designers to define visual language and patterns
A deep understanding of typography and designing to a grid
Partner with UX leadership in the continued development of our unified experience language used in our product and marketing design
Serve as a creative partner to external agencies to provide design oversight
Great communications and interpersonal skills
A demonstrated experience in motion graphics and a familiarity with motion design and production tools is a bonus for this position.
Sharp design sensibilities, critical thinking, and an eye for details
Ability to create detailed design specifications and mockups to communicate design intent
Familiarity with the mobile space, and an awareness of the relevant technical and ergonomic considerations
Marketing collateral & presentation creation experience a bonus but not necessary
