The Austin CPU Microcode Team at Intel Corporation is looking for an Undergraduate Intern who has an interest in X86 Architecture and developing Microcode tool and simulator for Intel's next generation Atom(TM) core. In this internship, you will be responsible for developing Microcode tools for X86 microprocessors.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

* Analyzing existing developed tools, understanding and gathering new requirements
* Supporting, maintaining, and developing new features for Microcode Simulation Environment written in C++

In addition to the qualifications listed below, the ideal candidate will also demonstrate excellent communication skills and willingness to work in a competitive team environment.

Minimum Requirements

Candidate must be pursuing a Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.

6+ months experience in:

* Computer Architecture and Microarchitecture techniques
* Assembly Language, C, C++ and Perl programming
