THE POSITION
The HTML/CSS Developer will join two additional Developers all of whom are part of a larger Email team that drives execution of consumer relationship marketing efforts in order to generate revenue from the Email Channel for various lines of LendingTrees business. The idea candidate will have a passion for designing, coding and modifying email communications to keep LendingTrees customers engaged with the Channel.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Assist with the Dev and Design of Email communications using HTML5, CSS3 and JS skills.
* Collaborate with high-volume Campaign Management team and Creative Teams to develop engaging communications.
* Problem solve, debug, troubleshoot, design and implement solutions to complex technical issues.
* Adopt best practices in front-end development: version control, documentation, deployment, and operations.
QUALIFICATIONS
* 4-year college degree with curriculum including Web Development and/or Web Design or one year experience in the same
* Proficient in HTML and CSS, knowledge of JS, JSON and API functionality a plus.
* Experience with debugging code to check for accuracy in syntax.
* Working knowledge of UX principles
* Firm knowledge of responsive design
* Preferred knowledge of:
* HTML table structure and inline CSS in HTML document.
* Version control (Github, Gitlab or similar).
* Image editing software.
* Must have a portfolio or Github to be considered

LOCATION
This position will be located in Charlotte, NC when our offices re-open. Candidate should expect to work remotely until then.
