CHS SunBasin Growers is looking for an Energy Operations Supervisor who has a strong understanding of the industry. You will work with the Department Manager to oversee energy operations and related services. You must be able to motivate and lead employees to accomplish business goals.
You will:
* Serve as a hands-on team lead, performing operations and providing guidance to others as needed to provide efficient, safe, and reliable service to patrons.
* Oversee all daily operations with emphasis on efficiency, quality, and safety standards.
* Oversee dispatch activities, route forecasting and preparation and scheduling of work hours.
* Dispatch all of the tank wagons (fuel and Lubes), Diesel Exhaust Fluid and package product deliveries, as well as Cenex Lube Terminal deliveries (covers WA, ID, OR, MT).
* Order all lube products and the scheduling for picking up at suppliers warehouse.
* Ensure the ongoing maintenance of the vehicle fleet at the locations by coordinating the preventative maintenance of vehicles, repairs, and licensing.
* Implement compliance programs at the locations to include housekeeping, safety, etc., as directed.
* Provide input into budget and asset needs, oversee operations within approved operating budget.
* Oversee maintenance, inspections, Inventory controls, and record-keeping for all energy facilities (warehouses, Cardtrol, etc.)
* Need to be detailed oriented, excellent communication skills, strong computer skills (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
* Perform other duties as assigned or needed.
* Work extended hours as needed to meet business needs.
* Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.
Basic Qualifications: (required)
* High School diploma or GED
* 3-5 years of agriculture or energy distribution experience
* Must be able to work extended hours in season
* Must understand basic business principles of inventory management
* Ability to stand, sit, twist, bend, lift up to 75lbs
Preferred Qualifications: (desired)
* Associates or bachelors degree in an agriculture-related program
* Agribusiness or Energy supervisor experience
* Commercial Drivers License (CDL)
* Energy and mechanical background
* Pit experience
