Key Responsibilities

Spend part of your day traveling to loss sites across the country that have been damaged by weather or other unexpected events
Conduct a detailed inspection of the property and write an estimate to capture the extent of the damages
When you are not in the field, use advanced video technology to collaborate with onsite vendors to identify damages and write a damage estimate from a virtual setting
Review the policy and decide how coverage applies and provide the customer with a detailed explanation of both the estimate and the policy
Communicate empathetically with customers and help them through their claim process in a fast, fair and easy manner
Negotiate claim settlements with customers in accordance with business unit standard methodologies
Flexibility to work in a variety of environments - independently, within a team, face-to-face, and virtually

As a condition of employment, you are required to obtain an adjuster's license in all states within the first 60 days of employment. Since this is primarily a field role, you will also need a valid driver's license.

This is a demanding field position that will require you to travel across the country as much as 75% of your working time. You will be working 10 days on with 4 days off, as a result, you must be willing to work weekends, holidays, and regularly work 12-hour days. In addition, you must be able to carry and set up a 50lb. ladder and handle claims, collaborate with vendors, and communicate with customers in a live, professional virtual setting from your home. Depending on the claims, you may work up to 75% of your working time from your home handling virtual claims as well.

If offered the role, you may travel to one of our regional training centers for training in our state-of-the-art facility within your first two months at Allstate. You will receive ongoing support, mentoring and coaching as you develop your career.

This position is not available to California, Alaska or Hawaii residents.

Starting salary - $55,500 with bonus eligibility

Job Qualifications

* 3+ years of property estimating experience using Xactimate
* Effortless customer service experience
* Organized and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
* Clear and professional communication - both written and verbal

The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation, which includes a drug screen.
