SAP Concur is seeking a Web Developer who will be responsible for developing and updating our global marketing websites. You will join a team that is creative, focused on results, and works together to achieve goals. This role is responsible for working with project managers, designers and digital marketers to improve our website.

Our web developers have the freedom and flexibility to choose their tech stack. As we architect and build new services and features, you will have the opportunity to pick the technologies that are most appropriate for the problem at hand.

The Role:

* Build innovative product features and scalable systems that impact the business

* Work across the full stack, including web and mobile front end, caching layers, CDN and memory, file system, and relational databases

* Collaborate with other web developers in a fast paced, agile environment

* Identify gaps and propose solutions to important problems, then take it to resolution

* Learn new frameworks and stacks to keep up with the ever-changing CM environment

Requirements

* 3-5 years of web development experience at major technology companies and/or software startups

* Strong knowledge for web infrastructure working with enterprise level content management systems

* Web Development experience in Drupal 7/8 or PHP, React, Javascript, MongoDB, Docker, MySQL

* Implement, manage, update, and deploy public-facing backend web infrastructure. Define best practices for testing and availability, design deployment workflows. Follow security best practices and be point of contact for security concerns.

* Implement and maintain performance and availability monitoring, and log aggregation. Configure production load balancers.

* Make decisions and recommendations about new platforms and architectures as necessary to streamline workflows and improve availability.

* Manage platform and technology migrations as team needs change.

* Write and maintain infrastructure documentation.

* Technologies: F5, nginx, Varnish, Drupal, Docker, Splunk, Wordpress, memcached, PHP, NodeJS, MySql, MariaDB, MongoDB, Git, Subversion, Puppet, Ansible, CentOS, AWS, Akamai, Acquia, DNS.BSCS or equivalent work experience

* Passionate about building products that help customers easily and effectively get their job done

* Enthusiastic person, who communicates effectively and is easy to work with

* Curious and constantly learning on your own and from others

Preferred Qualifications

* Proven experience designing and implementing well-crafted, scalable, and maintainable code

* Ability to balance time and resource management in the interest of the business and customers

* Experience building large-scale web applications and microservices

* Experience building fast, accessible, world ready and responsive user experiences

* Be highly creative, flexible, self-directed and resilient



Work Location: The employee in this role will work primarily from the SAP Concur office in Bellevue, WA
