The Full Stack Developer is responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to lead applications systems analysis and programming activities ensuring data protection.

* Check assigned Jira tickets and create software development sub-tasks or tickets
* Find creative ways to solve problems
* Develop, test and document code
* Fix bugs in existing code
* Get code reviewed by senior developer
* Push code to git repo
* Attend SCRUM meetings
* Refactor existing code
* Follow product lifecycle for new product engineering certification
* Address product gaps or vulnerabilities by working with the vendor and/or developing fixes
Responsibilities:
* Partner with multiple management teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals as well as identify and define necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process improvements
* Resolve variety of high impact problems/projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards
* Provide expertise in area and advanced knowledge of applications programming and ensure application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint
* Utilize advanced knowledge of system flow and develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation
* Develop comprehensive knowledge of how areas of business, such as architecture and infrastructure, integrate to accomplish business goals
* Provide in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define issues and develop innovative solutions
* Serve as advisor or coach to mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work as necessary
* Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Must Have Experience:
* NodeJS
* Javascript asynchronous programming: Promises, async/await
* Object Oriented Programming: classes, inheritance, private, protected, public, getters, setters
* Typescript programming language: abstract classes, interfaces, types, type inference, advanced types, tsconfig.json
* HTTP protocol: methods, headers, request, response, status codes, best practices
* REST API design: CRUD pattern, authorization techniques, namespace design, Express or some other framework
* REST API testing: Insomnia, CURL and NodeJS http/https module
* Using MongoDB from NodeJS: advanced queries, aggregates, transactions, atomic operations such as findOneAndUpdate etc.
* Visual Studio Code editor, plugins, settings.json file, build tasks including watch
* NPM package manager: .npmrc file, installing packages locally and globally, package.json file, creating packages, using enterprise repo for downloading and uploading
* Git: code commit best practices, rollback, branches, merging, remote repo operations, pull requests. .gitignore file
* HTML 5, CSS 3, VueJS, VueCLI
* Google Chrome APIs such as fetch, Window and DOM
* Google Chrome Dev Tools
* Windows and Linux experience, power user or SA level
* Jira
Qualifications:
* 6 + years of relevant experience in Apps Development or systems analysis role
* Extensive experience system analysis and in programming of software applications
* Experience in managing and implementing successful projects
* Subject Matter Expert in at least one area of Applications Development
* Ability to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate
* Demonstrated leadership and project management skills
* Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
Education:
* Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
