As an associate client care professional, you will deliver an outstanding experience by relationship building, fact finding, and providing solutions. High priority is placed on all client needs via inbound phone calls, email, and website channels.
The Client Care team assists with online registration to our website, updates client information, facilitates our death reporting and death claims status processes, and makes connections to appropriate areas within Thrivent.
After the successful completion of the initial paid training and mentoring, additional training is provided to expand your knowledge for your new role. We encourage continued employee learning and development. Promotional opportunities exist based on your personal demonstration of our core competencies and knowledge proficiency.

Required Job Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent required. Post-Secondary education preferred.
* Excellent interpersonal skills.
* 2+ years prior customer or financial services experience.
* Ability to multi-task; accessing and navigating multiple software applications in a Windows environment while simultaneously communicating on the phone via a headset.

Other Critical Factors
* Ability to work a full-time virtual training schedule between the hours of 8:00 a.m. 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday for 6 to 10 weeks with minimum to no time off needs.
* Once training has been completed, ability to work a full-time schedule between the hours of 9:35 a.m. 6:05 p.m. Monday through Friday with the occasional opportunity for overtime hours.
* Desire and ability to work in a structured work environment (follow a set schedule, lunch, and breaks), abide by adherence to schedule guidelines and meet performance expectations
* In our current virtual environment, a private, quiet workspace with room for two monitors and a laptop , direct connection to a cable modem, and minimum cable internet speeds of 3 mbps download and 1.5 mbps upload is required.
* Thrivent will provide the two monitors and laptop. However, employees are responsible for home internet costs and other expenses. This is not typically a remote role, working in office is typical for new employees, however, telecommuting options may exist in the future.
