Essential Job Responsibilities:
* Achieves optimal partner satisfaction by attentive and detailed management of all aspects of the partnership and by facilitating high level interactions with subject matter experts;
* Identifies and executes on new partnerships with Pharma and Biotech using market-specific sources including databases (e.g. IQVIA, GlobalData, Informa), personal network and social media platforms (e.g. LinkedIn), scientific and partnering conferences and media organizations to prospect for relevant leads;
* Achieves an in-depth understanding of the partners needs and be able to communicate to the internal organization;
* Collaborates with the business development team to support existing partnerships;
* Informs and influences internal, global stakeholders to execute on partnerships;
* Contributes to continuous process improvements for successful program delivery by working with the business development team and with the relevant internal functions;
* Contributes to the development, refinement and approval of business development-specific marketing collateral for pitches and lead finding;
* Communicates the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders;
* Develops and provide reports to show progress and support forecast process;
Requirements:
* Excellent written and verbal communication skill with demonstrable ability to present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization;
* Demonstrable experience delivering client-focused solutions to worldwide customer needs while also maximizing value for the organization;
* Proven ability to effectively prioritize multiple projects at a time;
* Experience in strategic account management skills including relationship management, driving growth opportunities and expanding the partnership scope;
* Constructive critical thinking and problem-solving skills;
* Ability to read and interpret contracts and provide guidance to legal on commercial terms, supports or takes the lead in contract negotiation;
* Experience in developing deal models and optimizing for value for the organization;
* Experience working with the pharmaceutical and biotech industry;
* In-depth understanding of clinical drug development;
* Fundamental understanding of the role of molecular diagnostics in relevant therapeutic areas;
* Completes all assigned and required training satisfactorily and on time;
* Facility in Microsoft applications including Excel Macros, Teams, SharePoint, One Drive
Preferred Requirements:
* Bachelors degree in field with 5+ years of related work experience OR Masters degree in field with 3+ years of related work experience OR Doctoral degree in field with 0-2 years of related work experience.
