We believe communicating with our Associates has a direct impact on achieving business objectives, driving engagement and preserving company culture. Located at our Marlborough, MA West Campus, the Benefits Communications Specialist will support the development and execution of communications strategies and campaigns primarily focused on creating awareness about the TJX Total Rewards programs including health, life and disability benefits; compensation; retirement benefits; and work/life programs. The ideal candidate will have the ability to listen to internal department requests for communication projects, think through those requests and assist in defining communications requirements, messages, and distribution methods. Communication planning, distribution, and internal relationship building will be key to success.

Responsibilities:

* Writing content for health & well-being projects such as brochures, benefit summaries, and ongoing administrative projects.
* Drafting content for various Total Rewards awareness campaignswell-being; health, life and disability; retirement; and compensation.
* Building and maintaining partnerships and cross functional relationships with internal and external partners.
* Collaborating with internal resources such as marketing, HR, store/DC operations and duplicating center to distribute communications using digital and print channels.
* Updating content on company intranet, on-going material maintenance and organization.
* Assisting with the annual Open Enrollment project, including coordinating distribution to field and Home Office locations.
* Working closely with Distribution Center HR by supplying up-to-date benefits materials to support Open and Ongoing Enrollment.
* Handling the distribution of compliance-related items such as Summary Plan Descriptions, Summary Annual Reports and Annual Funding Notices.
* Special projects as assigned.

Requirements:

* 2-4 years of comparable corporate or benefits communications and information distribution experience.
* Excellent communications, writing and editing skills.
* Proficiency in MS Office (Word and PowerPoint), experience with Adobe Acrobat Pro and SharePoint is preferred.
* Must maintain close attention to detail to ensure accuracy among multiple versions of similar materials.
* Ability to manage several projects of varying scope with competing deadlines in a fast-paced changing environment.
* Ability to uphold company brand and style guidelines both in writing and visually.
* Ability to form internal and external partnerships across departments, divisions, and geographies.
* Additional skills (preferred, but not required):
* General understanding of benefit plans (health, life and disability; retirement)
* Ability to speak/translate into Spanish
* Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
