About the Role

We are looking for a technology leader to join our diverse team of professionals, as our Principal Systems Engineer for GCP. As a leader in this area, you will have deep experience with Google Cloud Platform and enterprise scale application suites. You will have the opportunity to work alongside many skilled peers and help drive efforts to optimize our systems within GCP.

Qualifications, Skills and Competencies

* Professional experience working as a lead engineer on GCP
* Strong understanding of GCP environment, configurations and managed services
* Demonstrable experience deploying multiple applications and database technologies at scale with consideration for performance, security and observability
* Proven track record of architecting, developing, and implementing enterprise scale applications and services in GCP
* Hands on experience using Cloud Deployment Manager, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, Cloud Monitor, and Cloud PaaS
* Strong knowledge and experience with migrating on-premises datacenters, applications, services to GCP
* Prefer strong hands-on knowledge of automation tools such as the following: Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Saltstack, Packer, Jenkins
* Strong knowledge and hands-on implementation skills of containerization, Kubernetes, service mesh and related security, networking, storage technologies
* Experience driving technology initiatives: feasibility, POC, implementations
* Experience partnering with multiple internal and external teams to achieve results
* Strong presence and excellent communication skills with technical focus
* Interested in technology, innovation, and how digital platforms can solve business challenges
