Mortgage Lending Sales Assistant
The Mortgage Lending Sales Assistant will provide sales support to Mortgage Loan Originators including making the initial contact on incoming leads, and assistant with obtaining required mortgage documents. The Mortgage Lending Sale Assistant's primary function is to assist the Mortgage Loan Originators with clerical duties allowing the Mortgage Loan Originators to focus on sales. They will be speaking with customers, referral sources and third-party vendors on behalf of the Mortgage Loan Originator to move leads to applications and applications to closed loans.

Position Responsibilities:

* Make initial outbound calls to incoming leads on behalf of the assigned Mortgage Loan Officer to start the application process.
* Place outbound calls to customers when requested to obtain needed documents or provide status updates.
* Assist the Mortgage Loan Officer with the review of documents when received and placement into the file.
* Work with Vendor/Computershare Lending Services to obtain needed status updates and communication these updates back to both internal and external customers.
* Assist with additional reporting requests as needed and back up the Mortgage Administrative Assistant.
* Serve as a backup to assigned Mortgage Loan Officer as needed.

Position Qualifications:

* High School Diploma or GED
* 2 years of experience in lending or mortgage products
* 1 year of experience utilizing Microsoft Office Products including Word and Excel
