The Regional Associate Sales Consultant (ASC) position is an exciting developmental role for you to launch your career in medical devices. The Regional ASC position provides clinical and selling support in hospital and procedures, while ensuring customer service for existing and new customers, sales logistics, technical expertise, asset management, and product knowledge of the highest order/level. The Regional ASC will be assigned to support territories as needed throughout their region. Ability and willingness to travel within the United States for multiple weeks at a time is required.
At 18 months, the regional ASC will be evaluated for a promotional opportunity to a junior level Sales Consultant. To qualify for the Jr. Sales Consultant role, candidate must be willing to relocate (with company relocation assistance) to hiring area.
The Regional ASC is responsible for:
* Covering cases in operating room (OR) with product knowledge of the highest level
* Coordinating equipment required for case coverage
* Logistics related to hospital billing and replenishment
* Maintaining/managing surgeon and account relationships
Qualifications
Required Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelors degree
* One or more years of relevant experience in sales, marketing, healthcare or professional experience
* The ability to travel as necessary (potentially overnight and/or weekend)
* The ability to relocate to an assigned geography as needed
* Valid Drivers License issues in the United States
Preferred Qualifications:
* 2+ years of professional experience, preferably sales experience in any industry
* Demonstrate mechanical aptitude and ability to learn complex technical concepts
* Demonstrate ability to understand, interpret, communicate and work in complex, matrix environment
* Strong interpersonal communication, influencing and negotiating skills
* Strong problem-solving skills with experience in data analysis
* Results orientation/sense of urgency ability to drive to tight timelines
* Ability to work independently and autonomously
* Strong desire to learn and grow professionally
* The ability to work in a lab/operating room environment
