Job Description

The Contracts Manager will be responsible for providing Contracts subject matter expertise to capture and implementation teams across the Raytheon Vision Systems portfolio. This person will be responsible for managing of all aspects of the contracting process including proposal preparation, fact finding, negotiation, contract administration, and contract closure.

The effective candidate will proactively engage with program teams and customers to ensure program results in meeting requirements (including cost, funding, schedule, and deliverables), use business acumen and program knowledge to understand program performance, provide guidance, and guide outcomes to achieve desired results. This role also requires the skills to recognize contractual issues early in program performance, implement solutions, and carry actions through to completion, while exercising good judgment with minimal supervision.

Required Skills:

* Minimum of 8 years of professional contracts or related experience
* Ability to work within an integrated program team and foster trust with external and internal customers
* Extensive experience with DOD Prime and Subcontracts
* Thorough knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS), and equivalent U.S. Government regulations
* Expertise in Change Management, requests for equitable adjustments (REAs), engineering change proposals (ECPs), dispute resolution and negotiations,
* Expertise in various contract types including internal business transactions
* Experience with non-standard and complex contracting issues
* Ability to interpret and comply with Company Policies and Procedures
* Thorough problem-solving skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Proficient with MS Office applications
* Ability to work autonomously with minimal oversight
* Ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance

US Citizenship status is required as this position will need a U.S. Security Clearance within 1 year of start date.

Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) or equivalent certification
