Strategy Manager, Health Tech

Job Description

The Health Technology team at Facebook is seeking a Strategy Manager to help develop and execute payer, provider, and partnership product strategy aimed at improving health outcomes. In this role youll focus on how Facebook should most effectively allocate resources, both within and across product portfolios, by providing a holistic understanding of our products, markets, and relative advantages. Youll then translate this into actionable recommendations for our long-term product roadmaps, and influence product and engineering leaders to maximize impact for Facebook. Health Technology is an exciting and rapidly evolving space requiring a candidate that can quickly assess new opportunities and translate them into product recommendations (often based on imperfect data from multiple sources). This role is highly cross-functional and requires influencing leadership across Facebook.

Strategy Manager, Health Tech Responsibilities

* Create market and partner insights, synthesize trends and unmet needs in the ecosystem and provide input as to where Facebooks capabilities and products can create impact

* Work with cross-functional partners (engineering, clinical research, product, data science, user research, partnerships, policy, legal, regulatory compliance) to outline data-driven strategic decisions, and frame actionable product recommendations

* Work with cross-functional partners to define organizational impact and approach to proposed decisions, specifically related to necessary infrastructure, regulatory, policy, and messaging development

* Define commercialization strategy including partnerships, positioning and pricing

* Build clear and concise strategy documents and get buy in on future health programs

* Present insights and recommendations across Facebook, and partner cross functionally to influence product roadmaps and position products for market adoption and reimbursement

* Define and lead pre-market pilot assessments with strategic partners to validate target endpoints and product value

* Structure and negotiate agreements with partners and customers

* Evangelize product with industry stakeholders to drive device and ecosystem adoption

Minimum Qualifications

* 3+ years experience in application of technology platforms to advance health impact and business objectives, including direct management of product partnerships and consumer product development pre/post go to market

* 6+ years experience leading cross-functional collaboration and consensus building among multiple stakeholders in an entrepreneurial, high-expectation environment

* Experience developing and closing highly complex commercial agreements with strategic partners, including academic research institutions, payers, and providers

* Experience understanding product development lifecycle and processes that ensure high quality product

* Experience with how Facebook/social media products could be leveraged to advance health impact

Preferred Qualifications

* Financial modeling skills, and expertise with valuations, marketing sizing and investment decision making

* Experience with international healthcare systems

* MedTech and remote patient diagnostic go to market experience

* Existing industry relationships to expedite business development process
