Responsibilities
Responsible for decontamination, cleaning, processing and sterilization of Instrumentation, supplies and equipment dispensed by the department following established infection control practices. Initiates case carts for Surgical Services. Must be conscientious with regard to procedures and capable of working under pressure and interacting professionally with other departments within the hospital. Able to accept new ideas and learn position duties. Participates in the department's performance improvement activities.

Qualifications
High School graduate or equivalent.
Minimum of one (1) year experience as Central Service Technician.
Obtains national certification within 18 months of hire into the department.
