Job Description
KPMG is currently seeking a Manager in CIO Advisory for our Consulting practice.
Responsibilities:
* Act as client-facing technical voice accountable for providing invaluable insight and architectural guidance to our customers and engagement teams as they plan and build out new digital products
* Define target state and transition architectures and roadmaps
* Work directly with clients and collaborate with internal teams to serve as the technical architect on digital transformation initiatives
* Collaborate with others to define end-to-end systems architecture and design in accordance with business and operational requirements
* Develop component, service and interface definitions, define system implementation approaches and operational aspects
Qualifications:
* Minimum of six years of experience in conceptualizing, architecting, designing and communicating enterprise class solutions
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Information Systems, Information Management or other quantitative discipline with specialization from an accredited college/university
* Proven track record of advancing the ranks of a programmer who had built applications leveraging Java/J2EE, .NET or JavaScript and ability to consult with clients at any level: from the C-Suite to the developer
* Experience designing and implementing enterprise class scalable web and mobile applications leveraging modern loosely-coupled architecture patterns
* Hands-on working knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture and APIs (REST, SOAP, etc.) and other modern integration patterns
* Strong understanding of architectural patterns, guard rails and design best practices and experience working in Agile methodologies; ability to lead a team and work independently when required, taking ownership of complex feature areas and delivering them from start to finish
* Ability to travel up to eighty percent
