As an experienced professional in Project Execution, you thrive at managing complex technology programs that have far-reaching implications for clients, employees, and stakeholders throughout the firm. This role requires a strong grasp of the big-picture namely, how can technology help achieve business goals as well as a keen ability to establish priorities, manage resources and budgets, and build and incentivize high-performing teams. You'll work closely with colleagues across the firm to identify opportunities to develop projects and programs that are broadly applicable. Once you and your team establish a roadmap, you'll play an integral role in ensuring that the project is running on time, within budget, and in accordance with firm-wide guidelines, including risk and architecture. This role requires a wide range of strengths and capabilities, including:
* Act as the primary point of contact for technology projects.
* Concurrently lead multiple technology projects from concept to implementation, and through all phases of the software development lifecycle.
* Ability to coordinate Change management/ release events
* Ability to breakdown initiatives to minimum viable products or phase it out from feature or technical implementation perspective.
* Ability to influence and negotiate scope of work across multiple dependent teams
* Provide business teams input into project requirements, design and other critical project documentation.
* Build and maintain relationships with internal (business and technology team members) and external customers.
* Responsibilities include verbal and written communication for:
* Executive level project communication
* Project risks and issues
* Project status
* Facilitate meetings to support the communication responsibility.
* Meetings will include project level as well as senior level team members.
* Triage technical issues and lead teams toward solving problems.
* Manage all aspects of mobile project budgets.
* Plan team capacity to accommodate mobile project demands.
* Coordinate project schedules.
* Create work estimates based on technology concepts and requirements documentation.
* Support project releases.
Qualifications:
* 12 years technology experience with a minimum of 2 years of technical project management.
* Experience with leading projects through all phases of a software development lifecycle.
* Agile project management experience, including use of agile project management tools (i.e. Wiki, JIRA, etc.) a plus.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including experience with executive level communication.
* Ability to build strong internal and external client relationships.
* Ability to lead geographically distributed diverse project teams.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
* Experience with JIRA or other defect management software.
* Candidates must be self-motivated and confident in ambiguous circumstances.
