Position Summary
THIS IS A 3RD SHIFT POSITION (hours are 10:30pm-7:00am). Starting pay is $16.32/hr plus additional shift premium. The position will perform routine and repetitive work to pick, wash and inspect machined and purchased parts, including fasteners and seals, to arrange them for detailing and final assembly of wide variety and sizes of accumulators and accessoriesThe employee will perform these functions while maintaining a high standard of quality and quantity.
The duties will include but not be limited to the following:
?-Performs deburring, detailing, assembly and test of accumulators.
?-Assists with detailing and assembly and test of accumulators.
?-Assists with detailing and assembly of standard, special and custom accumulators.
?-Performs duties to complete and file inspection and test reports.
?-Maintains all tools and assembly equipment and report any malfunctions.
?-May perform or assist with product final operations which includes but are not limited to painting, rust preventing, packing, and crating.
?-Works from drawings, parts lists, specifications and instruction manuals. Uses basic shop mathematics and a variety of inspection tools, gages which require interpretation in various applications.
?-Participates in work team environment.
?-Performs these and other duties as requested by Supervisor.
?-High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
?-Must demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills.
?-Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds regularly. Lift assistance required to be used at 41 pounds or more.
?-Requires the use of general mathematics.
?-Requires the use of complicated drawings, specifications, charts, tables, and handbook formulas.
?-Ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team player.
