Amazon is innovating the shopping experience for customers and is looking for an Executive Assistant to support a VP on the Consumables Categories team, which includes Health & Personal Care, Grocery, Beauty, Premium Beauty and Baby categories. Consumables is one of Amazons fastest growing businesses, with a focus on driving product selection, customer experience and profitability. This Executive Assistant will act as a seamless extension of the VP, will work closely with other EAs across Amazon. An understanding of business priorities and the ability to anticipate needs and drive improvements for the leader and the team is key. This person is often an important and primary representative of the VP, the Consumables team, and the Consumables culture, both within the Consumables team and beyond. As such, the qualities of collaboration, optimism/positivity, and a solutions-orientation will be vital. The individual in this role will be detail oriented, an experienced planner with a demonstrated ability to respond efficiently while maintaining flexibility, composure and a good sense of humor. The successful candidate will have the ability to independently prioritize and manage competing demands on the VPs time, complete complex tasks with minimal guidance, react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, and be comfortable with ambiguity. A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information, and professionalism in dealing with senior professionals inside and outside the company is important.
Other key responsibilities include:
Manage a complex calendar and schedule for the leader and to support the associated team/s
Serve as a business partner by ensuring strategic, proactive and thoughtful support of the rhythm of the business; through collaboration with other Executive Assistants, Finance & HR Partners on key business events
Work closely with the orgs Lead EA
Organize, prioritize and appropriately handle time-sensitive, confidential information and ensure the action/attention required is addressed
Track and help drive completion of key deliverables and follow up on outstanding items
Driving key team activities (such as staff meeting agendas, all-hands meetings, supply ordering)
Manage large group logistics
Plan and support team building, professional development, and culture building activities
Ownership of domestic & international travel arrangements for the leader
Participate in planning of large events and summits

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Basic Qualifications:
5+ years of work experience assisting at the executive level in a fast-paced environment
5+ years of experience with complex calendar management
Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint
Experience with space management
Experience with domestic and international travel coordination
