The Global Fleet and Products (GFP) teams mission is to provide the vehicles and services that enable Amazon to delight customers with our last mile operations. This role on the GFP team is responsible for evaluating new products and technologies, defining electric vehicle (EV) product and service requirements, and working across teams to enable fleet management and operational features required to deploy EVs at scale in Amazons Last Mile delivery fleet. The right candidate will possess a strong technical product management background, will have demonstrated experience leading medium to large projects across multiple teams, and will have a well-rounded background in solving problems using an analytical and data-driven approach. You must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities. This means you are not only able to develop and drive high-level strategic initiatives, but can also roll up your sleeves, dig in and get the job done. You will be able to take large, complex projects and break them down into manageable pieces, develop product specifications, then deliver them in a successful and timely manner is expected. Maturity, high judgment, ability to influence, analytical talent and leadership are essential to success in this role.

The Sr. Product Manager-Tech will be responsible for building out electric vehicle and fleet management features for Delivery Service Partners. This includes integrations with existing and new platforms, data pipelines and customer portals. This role is inherently cross-functional -- this leader will work closely with engineering, project management, design, operations, finance, legal and business development teams to bring products to market, develop and grow business opportunities, and enhance our existing products and features. A successful candidate will be highly analytical, resourceful, customer-focused, team oriented, and will have an ability to work independently under time constraints to meet deadlines. The leader will have a proven track record in taking on end-to-end ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment.

Some of the key job functions of the Sr. Product Manager, Technical are:
Create the vision and product roadmap to integrate new technologies into existing platforms.
Evaluating the business opportunity and application of new and emerging technologies.
Generating buy-in for the product vision with leadership and partner teams.
Creating and maintaining an optimized and logically sequenced roadmap.
Translating customer experiences into clearly defined product requirements.
Anticipating and resolving strategic issues that impair the teams ability to deliver.
Create, write and review user stories and business requirements, perform supporting research and analysis, write product specifications, and drive the product development schedule from design to release.
Work closely with internal teams to re-define business processes and deliver disruptive technology solutions.
Retrieve and analyze data, and establish key business metrics to measure product success.
Successful candidates will be excellent communicators, curious, highly motivated and effective within distributed teams.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree
5+ years of experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology
Experience with end to end product delivery
Experience overseeing roadmap strategy and definition
Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience working in the automotive engineering space
Experience working with vehicle safety and autonomy features
Experience delivering quantifiable results in a collaborative work environment spanning multiple (at least 3) teams.
Excellent oral and written communication skills to senior executive audiences
Experience defining products for consumers and business owners
Experience defining new user-friendly products for mobile applications
Ability to analyze significant amounts of data from disparate sources and turn that analysis into a recommendation
Experience leading new or start-up related projects where new products will need to be defined, implemented and iterate.
Experience with agile/Scrum software development
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous, deadline-oriented work environment.
Broad technical breadth and depth including familiarity with technology, web services and back-end application infrastructure.
MBA or Masters Degree in a related field
