Description
* Assist in budget analysis, cost and margin projections, estimate projects changes and impacts, etc.
* Develop engineering scope for projects with senior engineers and project salesman
* Perform equipment selections to satisfy engineering scope and calculated load requirements
* Perform life-cycle cost analysis among system alternatives to determine energy impacts of each alternative and assist in system selection
* Coordinate mechanical requirements with architects, electrical, structural & civil engineers
* Cleary identify and meet our commitments to the customer (owners, general contractors, etc.), design/construction team members (architects, electrical engineers, other trade contractors, etc.) and internal customers
* Prioritize the workload to identify and complete critical path items in a timely manner consistent with the job schedule
* Develop HVAC documents and drawings including, but not limited to, duct sizing & routing, air distribution selection, pipe sizing & routing
* Develop plumbing documents and drawings, including but not limited to, sanitary and vent sizing, domestic cold and hot water, natural gas, and compressed air sizing and pipe routings
