Apple is looking for a natural collaborator and exceptional program manager who is enthusiastic about finding and fostering great talent, building highly effective teams, and creating an environment where people come to do their best work. As part of the DesignOps team within Product & Design a large, global creative group within Apple Services you will play a key role in the planning and development of current and future talent who make up our diverse product management and multi-disciplinary design organization. The Program Manager in this role will drive Talent Planning and Hiring Programs for our organization. With a direct impact on our ability to scale strategically, effectively utilize current resources, and retain and develop top talent, this is a role for a creative mind, problem solver, and implementer who wants to contribute and lead on several fronts at once. You will heavily collaborate with managers and leadership across the Product & Design organization, as well as partner teams such as Recruiting, People (HR) and Learning & Development. We are an international organization, with our main hubs in Silicon Valley and Culver City, as well as smaller hubs in London and Singapore. As such, some travel will be necessary.

* A combined minimum of 7 years experience working on talent planning, hiring programs, and program management
* Comfortable and familiar with creative organizations, with a firm grasp of the functional skills and responsibilities of various product design, content design and product management roles
* You are engaged in the design or creative community, with awareness of major industry trends, conferences and events
* Youve shown a demonstrated passion for turning over every stone to find top talent, and for creating an environment where that talent can thrive
* An innovative thinker, you have experience combining functional expertise with ingenuity to build new programs with measurable results
* Youre a tireless advocate for thinking, speaking and collaborating inclusively, fostering a culture that encourages and celebrates diverse experiences and perspectives
* Proactive and a master of prioritizing competing demands in a fast-paced environment, you are both able and willing to flex from strategic to tactical work every day
* By demonstrating integrity and fostering trust, you have a strong capacity to connect with others and build relationships
* You are comfortable working with ambiguity and are capable of flourishing in an environment of continuous improvement and constant change
* Organized with an acute attention to detail, you have experience managing large volumes of data that can change quickly

Talent Planning - Play a key role in defining and driving process and partnering cross-functionally during business planning cycles - Create mapping of current talent and skills within the organization - Assist in gaps assessment based on organizational objectives and business needs - Partner with team managers to identify critical hiring needs versus growth opportunities for high-potential employees - Support leadership in developing role and ladder definitions Hiring Programs - Oversee the health of our organizations hiring programs, developing and implementing programs that reinforce Apples commitment to building an internal community that reflects the diverse, ever-evolving world we serve - Serve as primary point of contact and business partner for our Global Recruiting teams - Work with Recruiting to drive talent pipelining and engagement initiatives, such as referral programs and recruiting events - Identify and drive opportunities to invest in future talent Program Management - Seek regular feedback from stakeholders, identify and drive process improvements - Maintain accurate record keeping and provide reporting - Serve as DRI for current and the development of future tools and systems
