Position Description
The Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Program Manager oversees the successful design and execution of various DEI programs including diversity recruiting strategies, our business resource groups, and data transparency
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
-Manages Grainger's strategic alliances and assesses ROI of partnerships.
-Develops DEI recruiting strategy, builds toolkits and collateral materials, partners with TA team, tracks progress to goals to ensure impactful results.
-Thoughtfully partners with BRG's on recruiting efforts.
-Provides thought leadership to enhance Grainger's employer brand as a great place.
-Oversees the Business Resource Groups and ensures alignment with DEI strategy.
-Partners with Community Affairs to ensure BRG Community Fund giving is aligned with broader DEI Strategy.
-Partners with the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) team to ensure DEI programs and metrics are accurately described.
-Conducts the annual pay equity analysis.
-Oversees deep dive analytics projects to understand biases in our talent processes and get to root cause with HR Business Partners.
-Monitors enterprise-wide diversity metrics to assess progress against DEI goals and objectives.
Position Requirements:
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
--Bachelors degree in HR or eqivalent preferred
-- 5-7 years of experience in a related field preferred
--Prior HR consulting expereince a plus (or other related field)
--Proficient utilizing excel and/or other data analysis tools to analyze data and develop robust reporting
--Strong project management skills with the ability to lead from inception, design through to execution
--Self-starter with the ability to operate autonomously with limited direction. Thinks critically and analytically
--Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize time sensitive responsibilities. Ability to multi-task with solid organizational skills, ability to manage ambiguity in the workplace and apply problem-solving skills
--Ability to communicate and present/interact with senior business leader audience, and skilled in developing and maintaining relationships at various levels throughout the organization
--Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
--Passion for diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives
