Ensures safe, appropriate, cost-effective medication therapies for patients according to established policies, procedures, and protocols. Directs and controls daily activities of department. Integrates the department into the hospital's primary functions. Participates in hospital committees as directed.
Job Requirements
Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy required. Two years of hospital pharmacy experience and three years in supervisory or management role required. Current licensure from Texas State Board of Pharmacy required.
Approved course in preparation, sterilization and admixture of parenteral and enteral products required.
