KPMG is currently seeking a Managing Director to join our International Tax practice.
Responsibilities:
* Play a key role in providing advice to member firms clients, in a range of industries, on international tax services and offerings
* Monitor and convey to clients information regarding U.S. technical developments as well as their application to Federal and International tax issues
* Build, manage, direct, and monitor multiple client engagements teams while maintaining active communication with clients in an effort to manage expectations and help ensure client satisfaction
* Lead, participate in and contribute to market and business development activities external to the firm; including identifying and pursuing new potential client service opportunities by collaborating with KPMGs Audit and Advisory practices
* Contribute to the growth, experience, and institutional knowledge of the International Tax practice staff level team members

Qualifications:
* Ten plus years broad experience in international corporate taxation
* Previous experience with several of the following common international tax planning areas: Outbound Transactional Structuring and Subpart F, Inbound Transactional Structuring, Check the Box Principles, U.S. Tax Treaty Research, Repatriation Strategies, Intellectual and Intangible Property Planning, Structured Finance, Base Shifting, FSC/EIE, Foreign Tax Credit Planning, Transfer Pricing, or International Mergers and Acquisitions
* Bachelors degree from an accredited college/university
* Licensed CPA, JD, or LLM or Foreign equivalent, combined with Enrolled Agent
* Demonstrated track record of business development with the ability to develop and maintain existing internal and external client relationships and help build new relationships with key targets
* Demonstrated experience leading multiple engagements and client service teams as well as developing and mentoring staff within a collaborative team environment
