Job Description

This Supervisor level position supports and oversees 3 functional areas for RRD Plover:

* Ensure all shipping and receiving coordination efforts are in line with site KPI's i.e. receipts per day are being met and delivery to customer is on time. In addition, this role makes sure weights and dimensions of shipments are correct, charges to be applied back to the customer, and storage areas throughout the facility are kept open.
* Managing carrier schedules and priorities from account team personnel to meet customer delivery times. This role is also responsible for any change in shipping notifications to account team members, any paperwork to include BOL or invoices and keeping track of accurate shipping manifest and record retention of documents listed within their area of responsibility
* Manages day to day functions of the receiving department and items that have incoming prioritization per customer account team and storing items that have been received into JDE/E1.
* Oversees Direct to Consumer (DTC) lines for pick, pack and ship business. Act as a liaison between customers and RRD account team; and will work directly in customer warehouse management systems to print orders, manage inventory, and reconcile on time delivery for each respective customer.
* Oversee Shipping of finished goods, receiving of product/material and DTC fulfillment areas.
* Manage shipping and receiving orders by schedule.
* Maintain warehouse safety and cleanliness of all responsible areas.
* Educate, train, and provide support to Powered industrial Vehicles (PIV) for entire warehouse and execution of consistent safety and training Blue Chip programs.
* Direct accident investigation programs, develop accident trends, and develop programs for improving performance.
* Oversee all shipping, receiving and DTC staff.



Required Skills

* Demonstrated ability to meet the job requirements through a comparable number of years of applicable work experience.
* Handson, selfstarter, multitasker capable of delivering results in a fastpaced, startup environment.
* Excellent leadership communication skills.
* Able to apply excellent business acumen and collaborative skills when resolving problems; consistently identifying critical elements, variables and alternatives to develop solutions.
* Exceptional computer skills in the entire Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and ability to learn and streamline existing technology to improve existing processes.
* Must be willing to adjust work schedule to meet the demands of clients. This can include weekend shifts as needed.
* Must be a strong team player with a personal commitment toward the business and its customers.
* Ability to react quickly to changes initiated from outside the facility and allocate resources to meet changes in demand.

Required Experience

Experience in shipping operations (work flow, documentation requirements, various shipping related software) in required.

Experience at a Supervisory or above level preferred, but not required.

Experience with building or improving inventory management, order management, and warehouse management systems and processes.
