Summary:
We are searching for a Floor Care Technician -- someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will perform scheduled and requested cleaning and maintenance of the hospital floors in accordance with departmental and hospital standards.

Responsibilities :
* Performs floor care in assigned areas according to standards established by management team
* Assists in the cleaning of emergency spills as observed or on request and responds within five minutes utilizing prescribed methods
* Cleans, dusts, sweeps, and discards all construction debris as requested by leadership
* Identifies and appropriately resolves space quality deficiencies in assigned areas to maintain space quality through improvement of efficiency, outcomes, and customer service
* Responds promptly and appropriately to all forms of Hospital communications including but not limited to pagers, radios, phone, e-mail messages, verbal, and written communications
* Follows departmental communication plan to ensure accurate understanding and appropriate response to information related to job performance and employee expectations
* Obeys all City, State and Federal laws, especially in the use of chemicals and equipment by hospital/departmental policies, usage manuals, and supplementals
Qualifications:
* 1-year floor cleaning and maintenance required
* Ability to use floor care equipment, communicate effectively, and follow verbal and/or written instructions
* Satisfactory completion of department's formal floor care training program may be substituted for work experience
