Job Description

Create high-impact business development and partnerships for Facebooks artificial intelligence (AI) team. Identifying opportunities, driving AI technology innovations, and building strong relationships. Lead cross-functional teams to formulate, negotiate, and execute key partnership deals. Coverage areas may include Facebook AI Research (FAIR), New Product Experimentation (NPE), cloud service providers (e.g. AWS), and PyTorch developers.

Business Development Manager, AI Responsibilities

* Identifying and driving opportunities to accelerate AI technology in the following areas: computer vision, natural language processing, speech recognition, speech synthesis, text-to-speech, recommendation engines, etc.

* Managing third-party technology (hardware, software, etc.) and dataset partner relationships

* Leading the definition of technical product requirements, including working closely with engineers, designers, business development, and marketing from product requirement definition through leading market research, driving customer interviews, new concept creation, and quick prototyping

* Analyzing data and deriving actionable business insights

* Defining, developing, and leading programs in a fast-paced environment

* Leading cross-functional teams

Minimum Qualifications

* BA/BA Degree

* Displaying skills when communicating with internal stakeholders and partners

* Experience driving projects forward with little oversight while seeking feedback as applicable

* 1+ years of experience identifying and driving opportunities to accelerate AI technology in the following areas: computer vision, natural language processing, speech recognition, speech synthesis, text-to-speech, recommendation engines, etc.

* Demonstrated skills in closing strategic software/services deals under timelines
