Andalusia Health

Direct patient care to include treatments, procedures, patient education.
Assists patients with tending to personal care and activity of daily living, including but not limited to bathing, grooming, eating and ambulation.
Reports abnormal findings or changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions to respiratory staff.
Perform EEGs and EKGs inpatient and outpatient.
Check oxygen tanks to see if they need restocking in all departments.
Setup oxygen on patients and document oxygen charges.
Remove breathing treatments when complete and document charges.
Clean and turn around equipment.
Assist with stocking supplies.
Perform COVID swabs during Drive-Thru testing M-F.
Scan and complete sleep study charges.
Trouble shoot equipment.
Assist RT in codes/emergent situations.
Complete RT charges/scan into RT daily reconciliation folder.

Job Requirements

Minimum Education
High school Diploma or equivalent required.

Required Skills:
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS) obtained within 30 days
