About the role:

This position is responsible for providing medical expertise, support and guidance during all phases of clinical study and product life cycle.

*This role can sit anywhere within the U.S.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Provides detailed medical/therapeutic guidance to internal and external groups including project teams, cross-functional units, investigators, and regulatory agencies.
* Provides hands-on operational support to teams in clinical trial planning, protocol development, investigator selection, training of internal and external personnel, medical monitoring for trial safety, data analysis/interpretation, and quality control.
* Delivers direct physician support to quality assurance group for risk management and postmarket activities.
* In partnership with Clinical Science Team, writes and edits clinical and scientific reports for regulatory submission and scientific communication.
* Cultivates relationships with influential thought leaders in the medical community.
* Attends and participates in select national, international, and regional meetings.
* Reviews and approves product educational and promotional materials.

What were looking for in you:

Minimum Qualifications

* Medical degree required with board certification in area of therapeutic expertise
* 5+ years of combined clinical practice and industry experience (device, pharmaceutical and biotechnology)
* Knowledge of clinical trial design and biostatistics
* Excellent communication skills in collaborating with both scientific and non-scientific groups
