Business Intelligence Administrator, Junior

Were looking for a systems administrator who specializes in business intelligence (BI) and data tools to help us build modern data ecosystem through a set of common set of scalable, modular, business-oriented data services.

As a systems administrator on our project, youll install, configure, maintain, and enhance MicroStrategy, Tableau, and other BI tools in Amazon Web Services (AWS) environments. Youll provide various administrative activities such as administering intelligence servers, configuring memory settings, monitoring performance, scheduling, and creating new users and security roles. Youll learn how to help customers overcome tough challenges through monitoring and performance management. Youll analyze problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission critical network. Youll be able to combine your technical expertise with communication skills as you turn metrics into information and communicate their meaning. This is an opportunity to gain experience in cloud computing and advanced DevSecOps technologies. You Have:

-3+ years of experience with the installation and configuration of the entire MicroStrategy Suite, including administering intelligence servers, configuring memory settings, monitoring performance, scheduling, creating new users and security roles, and Object Manager, Project Manager, Integrity Manager, Platform Analytics, and Command Manager

-2+ years of experience with AWS

-1+ years of experience with BI tool administration, including Tableau

-1+ years of experience with BI development

-Experience with the optimization and tuning of a BI environment

-Experience with BI administration on Linux

-Experience with Shell / Perl script programming in a Linux environment

-Knowledge of MicroStrategy or Tableau product capabilities and best practices

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree

Nice If You Have:

-Experience with other BI tools such as R Server Pro, or Amazon QuickSight

-Experience with additional data tool administrations, including Pentaho Data Integration, or Alation

-Experience with customer service and troubleshooting while advocating for the customer

-Experience with Agile
